Way too long, extremely overdue, and very much needed....

First off, if you are not interested in my life story stop reading NOW! I have a lot of catching up to do so you will hear it all!
Yes, I have not been a good blogger lately. Not only have I not done my own blog, but I have not checked anyone else's. I am feeling a little cut off from the world. This is a very overdue post. Those of you who have not heard yet we are expecting baby #3 in Sept. I waited so long to post that we were expecting that I thought why not wait a little long and post what we are having....So it is a BOY!!! Chase is going to have a little buddy to beat up on. (literally, he will probably get beat up!) We are so excited and looking forward to all of it. Okay, almost all of it. I am not excited to be prego in the summer heat of St. George again, but oh well. I really don't look forward to the interrupted sleep, but that doesn't last too long. Other than that, i am genuinely excited.

Chase has grown like a weed...well, faster than a weed. At his two year check-up in was in the 80% for both weight and hight. He weighs about 32 lbs. and I am not sure of his height. He is all over the place and talking like crazy. He broke his arm back the beginning of Jan. (that tells you a little of his personality) He makes us laugh several times a day. Even though he is a lot of work he is very much worth it. He is sleeping in his big boy bed and doing a great job. Next challenge....POTTY TRAINING! If anyone has tips for training a boy let me know! I have not a clue where to start??? He loves his Gigi (blanket) and we just had a birthday party in March for him. It was Toy Story. He loves his buzz and woody dolls (maybe I should call them action figures so it doesn't sound girlie). He is a friendly little boy and loves to smile at everyone when we go to the store. He loves the song Jesus wants me for a sunbeam and we sing it together every night while we rock. We love Chase and can't believe he is now over two years old. What happened to the time?

Abby is not a little girl anymore. She is like 4 going on 20. She is reading really well. Unless the word is really hard she doesn't even sound it out loud. Some of the things she reads to me just when we are out and about blow me away. She said her prayers a couple months ago and blessed all the people in all the world, even the Nephites, but not the Lamanites! I was dying, trying my hardest not to laugh while she finished her prayers. I also asked her a month or two ago what she had learned in church that day. She told me she had learn about the prophet Joseph Smith and how he destroyed the church!!! She is a great big sister and a big help to me. She is going to be an awesome big sister to two cute little boys. She is currently in Preschool and her teacher is Ms. Jani who she loves. She starts kindergarden this fall (AHHHH!) I don't think I am going to be okay with that. My little girl is going to be leaving me and right at the same time that I am having a baby. Talk about emotions on high. I am sure I will be balling! Abby still loves to color. She is my little artist and is awesome too! We usually have an art gallery covering our hallway wall. She is taking a dance class and has another recital in June. She is very good, I think mostly because she has a good memory so she can do it all without having to watch the teacher. This is something I always had issues with. Just remembering all the steps. But man, she is on top of it. She also goes to a music class that she is learning a lot from. It is called Let's Play Music. It has taught her how to read music and listen for minor and major keys. She will start on the piano in a couple weeks and she can't wait. She already plays "doe a deer" all by herself and she basically taught herself just by listening and trying until she got it right. I think she is going to have a ear for music and it helps that she LOVES it! This class has
been a great thing for her.

Ashton is busy busy working at his office. We have been so blessed to have things work out for us here in St. George. We are currently renting our home, but here in the next week or so will be putting in an offer to buy it. We are excited and hope that it all works out. If not, we will be in the market for a different place to live.

My life hasn't changed much since my last post. Still just chasing kids, changing diapers, making food, getting fat, and just loving every minute with my family!!!

We had a FHE in the wilderness and roasted hot dogs, smores, and taught the kids (Abby) about Lehi and his family and the Liahona. She then found a Liahona in our little camp site and we went on a hike where ever it led us. (so where ever Abby wanted to go)

Chase does this little action every single time he says, "NICE." He uses nice in the place of words like awesome!

Easter!!!

Easter with some Cheese!!!

One of two favorite birthday gifts!
