Chase Rolls Over

So Chase decided to start rolling over. At first it was cute and when I would go get him out of bed he was just talking and laying on his back. ***He likes to sleep on his stomach. If he sleeps on his back he wakes up a lot. Well, now it is not so cute. He is no longer waking up in the middle of the night to eat, but now it is because he is on his back and can't fall back asleep this way. I think he might be getting used to it now, but when he does fall asleep on his back it doesn't last as long as if he were on his stomach. Any suggestions???? So I went up to roll him back to his stomach during his nap a couple of days ago and this is what he would do. I had to laugh and it was cute, but it isn't so cute in the middle of the night because he isn't laughing he is screaming and I am not laughing either. Oh, and he can roll back to his stomach, but for some reason in his bed he chooses not to. He just wants to complain that he is stuck when really he isn't....HELP!!!

Abby's First Day(s) of Preschool

So I was trying to find a cute little dance class to put Abby in. As I was in the process I realized that she was old enough that she needed to be in a preschool also. So I quickly found one that she only missed one day of school. So today was her first day of school and man was she excited. When I was enrolling her last week, since school had already started she went right in and had a last minute "first day of school". She loved it and has been talking about going back ever since. So when I told her last night that today she got to go to preschool she was overly excited and kept telling me everything that she was going to put in her packpack (backpack) to take with her. And that she was going to get to hang her packpack on the wall. I think she was excited for this because the first day she was there wasn't planned so all the kids had backpacks except her. I actually came home and got hers for her because I knew she would be upset when they all had one and she didn't. So what does this mean???? I now have time to update my forever overdue blog. Here is a little from her first day(s) of school.
Here is a little clip of Abby before we left for preschool today. She had an idea of what she wanted to do because it was stuff she had done last week when we were there.

This is Abby ready for her first "official" day of preschool. She was so excited she put just about everything she owns in her backpack. I had to unload it before we left.

Abby last week after we got home from signing her up for preschool.

I think Mrs. Angela and Mrs. Kim are going to be a hit. I can't wait to see what she has to tell me when she gets home today. I am loving the time to myself because Chase is napping, but at the same time I am one of those moms that just wanted to stay and watch. Yes I have attachment issues!!!! My little girl is growing up too fast!

Finally the REAL birthday

We celebrated Abby's birthday for like a week and a half. The day finally came that was her real birthday. When I went to get her out of bed in the morning I asked her, "do you know what today is?" To my surprise she actually knew it was her birthday. I thought by this point she would be so confused with parties on different days, but she knew. If you ask her when her birthday is she will say, "the tenth of August." So I guess she really does know. So we had a little party at Grandma and Grandpa Prince's house. We tried another cupcake recipe from the book. It didn't turn out quite as cute. I had a little help making it from little hands, but we had fun and the kids loved it. She got some fun things from everyone. She looks like a doll in her cute new dress from Ben (thanks to Charee). The boys picked another great present for Abby. She loves to comb Barbies' hair and uses all the stuff to comb my hair also. Grandma and Grandpa found the cutest little princess bike. Even though Abby loves the bike she carries the front pouch and water bottle everywhere with her. She even sleeps with them. It is kinda like the gift we gave her. We got her a new camera because she always wants to use our camera to take pictures. It makes me a little nervous that she is going to break it so we got her one. Along with it we got her some lip gloss. The camera has been used once or twice and the lip gloss goes in the pouch from the bike and has to go with her everywhere. Needless to say, we took the camera back and got her an MP3 player. It hasn't come yet, but I hope she likes it more than the camera.
Happy Birthday Abby! We love you!!!

The famous water bottle.

Chase Has Some Stories....and More Giggles

It is not hard to make Chase smile or laugh. He loves everything. You just have to look at him and he will smile. He also recently started to "talk" and blow bubbles. I forgot how different, but fun every stage of babies are.

Girls Week

My Grandma, Aunt Robyn, and Mom were all here for the yearly girls week. We had so much fun. Top on my list was Sound of Music at Tuacahn. It was awesome. I was wishing the whole time that I would have taken Abby with us. I think she would have loved it. Since then we have bought the movie for her and she loved it. I am sad though because Tuacahn is over.
We also had the chance to play with my cousin Brooke. Her and her little girl came down from cedar city to play for the day. We had a great day at the park and lunch at Pasta Factory. We were also able to take a current picture of our four generations. We had a lot of fun. Abby also got to celebrate her birthday with them. Grandma Debbie gave her a cute princess cash register. Grandma Carolyn gave her a cute book about grandma's and grandpa's. It is a super cute book.

This picture was so cute I just wish Chase would have looked at the camera.

We were so glad to have them come down to play with us. I know Abby misses them because she will ask about them. She said to me the other day, "where is Bell and Michaela's mom?" (That is Robyn). I told her she had to go home. Anyway, we had a lot of fun and can't wait until we see them again.

New Jumping Place

Abby loved the "jumping place" in Vegas. It was one of her favorite things to do especially when grandma came to town. I think since grandma Debbie was here she got to thinking about it. When she was going to bed at our new house one of the first nights here she got out her new purse from Brynn and it had lots of "coins" in it. She said, "I am going to use my coins to go to the jumping place tomorrow." I thought it was so cute, but was worried because this was the first time that I had to tell her we live to far away from the jumping place. Well come to find out St. George has one and it is even better. We got up the next morning and we all went to the "New Jumping Place." She loved every minute of it. I think we were there for 3 hours. Chase also loved it because he didn't make a peep the whole time. Just hung out with either grandma or I while the other jumped with Abby. I think I had more fun than Abby did!

Abby's Third Birthday

My father in law found an awesome book with the cutest cupcakes on line and had to buy it for his sweet wife. Then of coarse we all needed one. Anyway, Abby loved it just as much as I did. She wanted to read it for a bed time story for like a week. Her favorite page was the penguins. So what was her birthday party theme??? Penguins!!! We had black, white, and blue decorations. With the cutest little penguin cupcakes and iceburg cupcakes. She loved it!!! They went ice skating on paper plates, and played "Hot Potato" with a frozen white water balloon "snow ball". They brought their mittens and all put them on to play this game. None of these kids really know snow or ever get to wear their mittens so they were loving it. They had a relay race using the egg on the spoon idea but with an ice cube on the spoon instead. They also went ice fishing and brought their fish to me for a "prize". Last year they played duck duck goose and they were so young they just ran around every time someone said goose. We have never corrected them because it is so cute. They would play this game at preschool and still do it this way. So I thought it was tradition to play so they played polar bear, polar bear penguin instead. They caught on quick with the new words but still ran around the house. They would all go to the bathroom and then turn around and come back to sit in a circle.
We had her birthday party with her friends really early because of the move. I knew she wouldn't know a soul when we got up here. I am so glad she got to have one last get together with all her friends. They had a lot of fun. Here are some shots from the party.
If you notice her head. This was the first day with out her band aid on it and it is looking pretty good. The slight bruise look is not from this injury. A few days before hitting her head camping she was spinning in the living room and in her words "smacked" it on the corner of the bar. It was a huge goose egg instantly. It just happen to be in the exact same place as her camping injury.

Here are the kids in the bathroom while playing polar bear, polar bear, penguin.

All of Abby's friends enjoying their cupcakes! We love and miss them all!

24th of July Camping in Fish Lake

Yes, I know this is not a camping picture but I had to throw it in. I know Chase is still young, but this just gave me a glimpse of what I hope to have happen in the near future. Ashton and I were busy packing for the move and we found Abby and Chase both on their stomachs with Abby talking and playing with Chase. It was so cute.
One more little non camping clip. Chase is soooo ticklish. Abby wasn't so we have too much fun tickling him. Take note of his hair because in the next few weeks he starts to lose it :(

Okay so on to the camping trip. We had a a lot of fun, but didn't sleep much. Abby and Ashton stayed in the tent where I hear it was FREEZING! Chase and I slept in the back of the van and did great. I only kept waking up because I was worried he was cold, but he was always just toasty and snoring. Abby went with all the guys fishing. She had a great time and was excited to spend time with her dad.

The weather the first day was great. On the second day we got stuck in a big storm. This was fun for Abby because she really doesn't see much rain living in Vegas. We had to teach her about thunder and lightening. She was scared at first and then Kristin told her the clouds were clapping and the rain came so that the flowers could grow big and strong. When we got home she just kept talking about the clapping clouds and the flowers growing big and strong.
This is just a puddle outside the trailer. So much rain in such a little time there was water everywhere.

She also loves Tigger and Pooh on playhouse disney. When it would come on she kept asking for the rain one. This is an episode where piglet is scared of the rain and thunder etc. And they sing a song to him. We had to download it off of itunes because she just kept asking for it. Now she sings the song whenever she hears thunder and it has actually been everynight for the last three or four nights. Not much rain just thunder and lightening.

Back to camping. Abby and I were out walking and it was early in the morning so it was still a little cold. She had her mittens and hat on. We were talking and all the sudden she was on the ground. I don't even think she had time to get her hands in front of her. Her head hit a little rock just perfect and it put a hole in her forehead. I didn't look at it at first just grabbed her and gave her loves. Then I thought I should look at her head. The only place that didn't have her hat cushioning it was pouring out blood. I grabbed her and ran back to camp. Abby doesn't really get hurt bad very much. She has little bumps and bruises, but she is a very cautious little girl. She had me worried because she kept telling me she was sleepy. I was okay with it all as soon as she got a band aid with a butterfly to keep it closed. After this she decided she wanted to play. I knew she was just fine but here is her and her "owiee".

There was a little fish pond for the kids. Abby got some clay and loved it.

The kids all got to make a blanket. Here is Abby and her daddy making a blanket. The first thing she put on it was a picture of her and then had to write her name above it. I then said what else do you want. She had to put another picture of of person and I said who is that? "It's Adam" She is really going to miss him.

There was little girl Abby's age there named Raegan. They had so much fun playing. We have been talking a lot about making new friends since we found out we were moving so Abby thought this was one of her new friends. I wish that she lived in St. George but they are from Salt Lake. When we went to church the next week up here she said, "is my new friend Raegan going to be here?" I was heart broken to tell her no, but she was okay with it.

Abby made a little scrapbook for all her pictures from camping.

Blowing bubbles ...one of Abby's favorite things.

Abby was too busy playing to stop for a family picture. Notice Chase's comb over....and oh it just keeps getting worse.

Camping was fun,and a good break from packing. The sad thing was this was the beginning of us living out of a suitcase for the next week and a half. Off to do some more packing!!!

Thanks Wendhy

So after my experience with Abby at her one year pictures I have never had professional pictures taken. One of my friends in Vegas took some GREAT pictures of the kids. Thank you so much Wendy we love them!!! I can't wait to get them in frames in the house to replace the one of Abby when she was about 8 months old. I will post some of my favorites later but I switched up my blog and used some for a preview. I also have a lot of catching up to do AGAIN! I hope now we are in our new house that life will slow down a bit. We did make to St. George safely and we are officially moved in. I am excited to start to get to know people because I am afraid Abby is going to get sick of playing with her mom really fast. Stay tuned, hopefully I will have another update of what we've been doing soon!
