Happy ESTR

So I am in the middle of moving, but still managed to put up a few Easter decorations so Abby would be able to enjoy the holiday. I put them up about a week ago. After I did I went into the kitchen and was doing something. Abby came in and said mom come here. So I followed her into the living room. She pointed up to the shelf and said look mom it says Easter. I had not told her anything about the decorations. I am sure that she put two and two together and knew that it was supposed to spell Easter, but it was spelled wrong. She said to me mom, I fixed it for you so that it spells Easter. Well, how do you tell a three year old that there is a silent A and a silent E in the word Easter? (Who came up with the English language anyway?) So I just said you are are right Abby. And for the last week this is what my Easter letters have looked like......

Chase's Party at G&G Prince's

We always have a great one year birthday party at Grandma and Grandpa Prince's house. We all decorate a cupcake in a way that Chase would want. I think this is one of the most competitive families. We all have to do all we can to get Chase to want our cupcake. Brian decided to put fruit loops on his. Before doing it he gave Chase a handful to eat, hoping this would later help in the cupcake choosing. After everyone is done then we put them all in a lineup and let Chase go to the one that he wants. He was very indecisive. First he thought the balloon on Grandma's was pretty special. In fact, he walked right for it, but never touched the cupcake. After which he grabbed all the colorful straws off of Kristin's, but again never touched the cupcake. So then he headed down to the end with the fruit loops (Brian started a trend with the kids so they all had fruit loops). He took all the fruit loops off of Taylor's, but never touched the cupcake. He took a good look at mine which was his basketball on top of the cupcake which was the basket, but he never even reached to mine. Nothing like Abby!!! Abby crawled right to mine because I had a picture of Bell her puppy on hers and she knew right off that she wanted it. Chase had a really hard time deciding. Because of the long period of time then the heckling started. We were all yelling at him, trying to get him to go toward our cupcake. I think we scared him and all he did at this time was try to get to me. I was behind the cupcakes so he stepped right on Nate's bunny cupcake (which was awesome). It was just the only way for him to get to me. Nate's cupcake just happened to be the one in the way. So we have decided that in the future no one an say anything. We'll have to see how that goes in a couple weeks for my nephews. Hopefully we can be a bit more successful in getting a winner.
He had a great time with his presents. Grandma and Grandpa gave him a Mickey Mouse Ride on Train. He and Cam were loving it. We put Cam on and Chase was pushing him all over. They are the cutest little cousins. Oh, they both got in the cupcakes and made a mess so they were in the sink together having a bath. Neither one were huge fans, but it was still funny. This is also the reason Chase is in his PJ's for the present opening. Chase had a great birthday and thanks to our awesome family for such a fun party!!!

I GET TO MOVE.....YEAH!!!!

So its a really long story, but I finally get to move. I love SOME of the neighbors where I am, but our place just doesn't have quite enough room for our little family. Mostly because I don't have a garage and my sweet in laws have been storing all of my stuff at their house for almost a year. I am sure they are glad we are moving also. It has been such a roller coaster since about January. The funny thing is that Abby has felt the roller coaster also. I know this from little comments she makes. Like a couple of days ago Chase was crying (he is a good baby but does cry like most babies do). Abby piped up and said, "Chase is crying mom, I that means we can't move to a new house now." We just kept having high hopes and then the next day they would be gone. Abby has started to pick up on not only what we say, but she can feel the mood in the house. Anyway, I get to move on April 23rd. It is still a few weeks so to keep myself happy and not dwelling on the fact that I want to move I have been refinishing my kitchen table. I knew it would be a lot of work, but WOW!!! I finally took a shower yesterday at 2:00 (this would be AM). I am exhausted, but it will be well worth it. I am excited for the final product.
