Hats, Hats, Hats
So one of my friends was patient and nice enough to teach me how to make her cute hats. She does sell them if any of you are interested check it out . I can't get my link to work so the site is www.forgigglesngrins.com. Anyway, I have been having so much fun with them. Though, my first one fit Chase and my second I ran out of yarn. I think I am now getting the hang of it and just in time for the cold weather.

Chase Loves the Bath, and So Did His Dad
Chase loves his bath. If Abby is in the bath and he isn't he stands to the side of the bath tub (with a little help) and if he was big enough I know he would be in the water. He just isn't quite big enough to get over the top of the bath tub. Once he is in the water he becomes a little swimmer. Abby loved her bath too but she would just lay there (not rolling over) or just sit there nicely. Chase surprised me when about a month and a half ago he decided to roll over and explore instead of lay there staring at the ceiling. He is my little swimmer. His dad seems to have loved the bath by his pictures. Diane sent me some photos of Ashton and I honestly had to take a double take at some of them because they looked so much like Chase. You decide who is who.

Halloween Visit from Grandma and Grandpa
We had a great time with Grandma Debbie and Grandpa Brad. It was so nice of them to come down and spend some time with us. It is hard for my dad to leave the cows. Apparently they can not live with out him. (Really, Jody called and said that one died. Granted it was already sick when my dad left, but I had to laugh). I am so glad that Jody and Tony were willing to help out so that my dad was able to come. So we did the whole Halloween thing. Saturday Abby had a soccer game. It is always fun to watch those. The little girls are hilarious. After the game my dad and Ashton went golfing so my mom and I went shopping. After we met back up with the boys and went to the wildlife museum. I have never been there before. I drive past it everyday and never thought to go to it. It was actually quite interesting. I didn't know that it was one guy who hunted all those animals. It was cool and Abby loved it. Chase enjoyed it too. I think he is always happy to do whatever!!! Such a good baby. He was even happier when we went to the park next and he was able to get out of the stroller he had been in all day. He rolled and scooted around the blanket while Abby, Emma, and my dad (yes I did say my dad) played on the playground. My dad was going down the slide and all. Even the big long twisty TUNNEL slide. It was great to see him come shooting out head first from the slide. There was even one time that he must have gotten a plastic burn on his elbow because we saw him looking at his elbow. Abby was having a great time with him. It was so cute. Thanks mom and dad for the great time. It is always fun when you come to town. Abby is still talking about it. She wants to put up her polar bear blow up that Grandpa got for her so that it will be closer to Christmas time. She knows that is when we will be going up to see grandma and grandpa again and she can't wait.

Halloween
So this year we had many halloween parties. Neighborhood, ward trunk or treat, preschool trunk or treat, and then the halloween night trick or treating. We had done some much by the time Halloween night came that we ended up at Texas Roadhouse. There was no wait considering we got there at about 6:30/7:00 when every normal person was out trick or treating. It was kinda nice. Anyway, my parents came down for Halloween and it was a lot of fun. My dad who has never dressed up in his life was so sweet to Abby. Abby was Snow White this year and so we all became the dwarfs. Ashton/Doc, Dani/Bashful, Chase/Dopey, Grandma/Happy, and Grandpa/Grumpy. It was actually a lot of fun to dress up with Abby. We even won a prize at the neighborhood party for the best family costume. Chase I think was the best though. He made a great Dopey. I am so glad that my mom and dad could be here with us. Oh, I also had a girl in our ward ask me how I got Ashton to dress up? Seriously.....last year we were the Ugly Step sisters to our lovely little Cinderella. He had a blond wig and let me put make up on him. His shoes had heals bigger than I am even able to walk in and he wore a dress that was about 10 sizes to small. This year was a cake walk. I think he was glad when Abby told him he was going to dress as Doc. He looked awesome too.

My dad thought that if he pulled his beard up and put his sunglasses on then he was in "disguise" and no one would know who he was. What a good sport!!!

I am sad I never got an individual shot of my mom/happy. But here is a good one of all of us ready to go trick or treating.

Preschool Trunk or Treat. The kids lined up on the sidewalk and sang five little pumpkins.

Ward Trunk or Treat

Abby and Emma were both Snow White and when I told them that I wanted a picture they both "posed." Long lost friends very excited to see each other.

Alicia was the wicked whitch and cam was the handsom prince. We had the whole cast of snow white.

What a great Halloween. It is so much fun to have Ashton be so willing to dress up and make it a fun Halloween for all of us and not just for Abby. Thanks everyone for the fun Holiday.

Feild Trip to the Firehouse
I was able to go with Abby and her preschool class to the firehouse. The little kids are so cute and say the funniest things. It is a good thing the fireman doing the teaching has little kids. He got some random comments, but did very well with them. Abby will now tell me the whole routine when ever she see's any smoke, even if it is just the steam coming off of her food when it is hot. She will tell me, "smoke is poison and when we see smoke or when our smoke alarms go off we shut our door (she is telling it as if she were in her bedroom alone), then we put blankets, or clothes, or towels under the door. Then I crawl to the window and do this (she waves her hands around) so that the fireman can see me. I am not supposed to be scared of the fireman when he comes in to get me. If I can get out then I go to our meeting place."
They let the kids sit up in the trucks and spray the hose. Then gave the kids a fire hat. It took the place of the mouse head band that we have been wearing for the last two weeks. The fire hat even had to be hung on her bed post when she went to bed. Cute field trip, she learned a lot, and had fun!!!!!

UEA Weekend in Cache Valley
We were able to take a quick trip to Cornish for UEA. My dad hasn't seen Chase since June so I thought I would take him up there so Grandpa could play with him. We had a great time. Abby was very excited to pull up to the house and see all of Grandpa's blowups. She loved it there. Some of her favorite things are jumping on the tramp, plugging in the blowups, playing with the play dough (grandma found a burger king play dough thing that was mine when I was little). We also found the old cartoons from when I was little. Rainbow Bright, Chip and Dale, Care Bears, and Go Go Gadget. The tape they were recorded on was broken so I opened it up and fixed it. I was so excited to watch them that I watched them without Abby before she woke up from her nap. Brings back memories to watch something from childhood. Abby loved them too. We also went to lunch with Grandma Carolyn and my mom's sisters. It was fun to see them all. Abby had a lot of fun playing with Hallie also. She is getting so big so fast that Abby was surprised when she could play with Hallie this time. Usually she has just been this baby that took up "Grandma time" (you know how kids get a little jealous). Now Hallie is big enough to play and Abby and her had a great time. They jumped on the tramp together and loved it. After we left my mom called and said that Hallie pointed at Abby's picture on the fridge and said "Abby." It is so fun that she is getting old enough to talk and recognize who we are even though she doesn't see us often. When Hallie came out to the house she was wearing her cute boots and cowboy hat. Abby and Chase got a kick out of the hat. They also brought out Hallie's halloween costume. We had to put Chase in it. Funny that it fit him. I think Hallie (who is a year older than Chase) weighs about one or two pounds more than Chase. Anyway, we got some cute pictures with the hat and the lion costume. Grandma McKnight always comes up for dinner which is so much fun to have her there. It is crazy because my parents house isn't huge and there are a lot of us now. So we always ask Grandma if she is doing okay (because of the craziness), but she always says she loves it. I think it is fun for her to have the little kids around. Thanks everyone for the fun time. It was well worth the long drive!!!

Getting Ready for Halloween w/ Gma Debbie
Yes, it is November and the title is getting ready for Halloween. I am behind like always. This picture was cute so I had to get it in. My mom came to town marathon weekend, and we did some Halloween shopping. She found some cute headbands. Abby wouldn't take her mouse off and so Grandma was sweet and left it here for Abby. She wore it all through October. She almost decided to be a mouse instead of snow white, but I talked her out of it.

This video of Chase about kills me. I made some pudding for Abby and we were all having some. Apparently that was not okay with Chase. He had to have some too.

Belagio Gardens
We love the gardens, if I haven't said that before. We were able to go see the gardens when we were in vegas for the Phantom of the Opera (which was awesome). It was a fun way to get ready for the fall and see the cute new talking tree. His eyes blinked and he would say something about every three minutes. It was so cute because Paisley kept trying to get to the tree. She couldn't figure out how to get through all those flowers to the tree that kept talking to her. We had a lot of fun and even though we love St. George there are a few things in Vegas that we will always love and the gardens are one of them.

"I Lost Adam"
So we have lived in St. George for three months now. Abby has blessed Adam in almost every prayer she says. Also when she is sad I ask her what is wrong and no matter what the real reason is she always says, "I lost my Adam." The first time she said it it broke my heart, but now she says it no matter what. Even when she is in trouble so I have to ignore it sometimes. Anyway, she got to play with Adam. Yes, this post is very overdue. We played with Adam the very beginning of October. She was in heaven. It was sad to tell him goodbye, but hopefully we will see him soon. Oh, she got a new stuffed cat this weekend from Grandma Debbie. She loves the thing, almost more than her "Bells." So I asked her the cats name. It is Adam. So I told her then it must be a tom cat and she said no mom it is Adam. I tried to explain to her a tom cat just means its a boy, but she just kept saying no his name is Adam. Here are a few of the cute photos from the get together.
Adam was showing Abby is muscles

Every time we see the temple, which is often here in St. George since you can see if from almost everywhere, she tells me she is going to marry Adam in the temple. I guess this was the beginning of that because she really wanted him to hold her hand.

Paisley is a crack up. It was fun to spend the day with Katie and Paisley. Thanks guys for the fun time (a month ago)!!!

They were exhausted. It took about three minutes in the car for this to happen
